Tony Pulis has revealed that he is suing Arsene Wenger over his remarks about the tackle on Aaron Ramsey that broke his leg.
Arsenal boss Wenger accuses Stoke and Shawcross “of being like rugby players – it is not like football anymore” after the teams played in February.
Wenger hit out after defender Shawcross, 23, was red- carded for breaking Aaron Ramsey’s right leg in two places last season.
Wales midfielder Ramsey, 19, is not expected to play again until November after the horror tackle.
Pulis Commented:
“We fought two world wars to say what we like – but what Arsene said about Ryan was wrong. It was poor. ”
“It has now gone from executive to executive between the clubs.”
“The lawyers are involved and we would like something sorted out.”
