Aaron Ramsey plays for Arsenal & is A welsh International, who broke his leg in a 50/50 tackle with Ryan Shawcross against Stoke. His recovery is improving, in which he is back in light training.

Before playing football, Aaron Ramsey was approached by scouts to play for top Rugby League side St Helens (Saints RLFC). He however agreed to play football for Cardiff City, in which he later moved to Arsenal.

Pulis To Sue Arsene Wenger

Tony Pulis has revealed that he is suing Arsene Wenger over his remarks about the tackle on Aaron Ramsey that broke his leg.

Arsenal boss Wenger accuses Stoke and Shawcross “of being like rugby players – it is not like football anymore” after the teams played in February.

Wenger hit out after defender Shawcross, 23, was red- carded for breaking Aaron Ramsey’s right leg in two places last season.

Wales midfielder Ramsey, 19, is not expected to play again until November after the horror tackle.

Pulis Commented:

“We fought two world wars to say what we like – but what Arsene said about Ryan was wrong. It was poor. ”

“It has now gone from executive to executive between the clubs.”

“The lawyers are involved and we would like something sorted out.”

Arsene Wenger Opens Fued With Stoke City

After the horror tackle on Aaron Ramsey from, Stoke centre back Ryan Shawcross. Arsene Wenger has accused Ryan of turning football into Rugby.

Wenger spoke out after Stoke’s 2 – 1 defeat to Spurs at the weekend, with increasing fury with ‘rough tactics’

Wenger said:

“You cannot say it is football any more.”

“It is more rugby on the goalkeepers than football.”

“When you see the way Shawcross kicked Heurelho Gomes, how Robert Huth pushed Gomes in the goal, you cannot say that is football anymore.”

“If the referees allow that you cannot accept it because that has nothing to do with the game.”

“I believe that in some situations the goalkeepers are not protected.”

“You cannot have players whose main role is to stop keepers from catching the ball and not even going for the ball.”
